As Associate Partner and Head of Employment at Franklins Solicitors, Sara Marshall brings a calm, empathetic and pragmatic approach to every matter, aligning her advice with each client’s values and commercial priorities. Sara is an Employment Lawyer with over 25 years of experience, providing tailored advice on a wide range of employment issues. With a warm, supportive approach, she ensures clients understand their rights and achieve the best possible outcomes, guiding them through the complexities of the employment law landscape.
Sara acts for both employers and employees on contentious and non-contentious matters, delivering simple, straightforward and expert advice tailored to each client’s needs. Her extensive HR knowledge spans the full employee lifecycle, including contracts and policies, disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, redundancy, settlement agreements, and Employment Tribunal defence. This experience makes her the employment law contact employers call before problems escalate and an expert in helping them avoid tribunals and HR disasters.

She focuses on preventative strategies, clear documentation and confident decision-making, so that issues are resolved early and proportionately.
