Join the £50 Challenge 2027

Bring your team together. Make a difference. Have fun.

Could your team turn £50 into something extraordinary?

The Franklins £50 Challenge brings businesses and organisations together to raise money for local charities through creativity, teamwork and fundraising.

Each team receives £50 from Franklins and uses its ideas, skills and networks to grow it into as much as possible for one of our 2027 charity partners.

Now in its 9th year, the challenge has raised almost £250,000 for local charities.

Challenge dates: 23rd February – 29th May 2027

£50 Challenge

What is the Franklins £50 Challenge?

The idea is simple.

Franklins provides each team with £50 of seed funding. From there, it is up to your team to decide how you grow that investment.

Teams use their creativity, teamwork and connections to organise fundraising activities and raise money for one of our charity partners.

Previous teams have organised events, taken on challenges, run competitions, hosted auctions and developed countless creative ideas to make their £50 go further.

There is no single formula for success. The most memorable fundraising journeys come from teams working together, thinking differently and having fun along the way.

Hear from previous participants

The best way to understand the Franklins £50 Challenge is to hear from the teams who have experienced it.

Hear how teams approached the challenge, the ideas they came up with and the difference taking part made to them and their chosen charity.

£50 Challenge

Who can take part?

The challenge is primarily aimed at businesses of all sizes, although we have also welcomed teams from schools, community groups and other organisations.

Teams should be able to commit to taking part throughout the challenge period and actively support their chosen charity partner.

What happens at the end?

The challenge culminates in our awards and celebration event in June, where we come together to celebrate the achievements of all teams, alongside our charity partners.
