Kelly Rankin is a Solicitor in the Private Client team at Franklins Solicitors. Kelly studied law at the University of Hertfordshire and qualified as a Solicitor in 2015, joining Franklins in August 2026. Kelly advises individuals and families on a full range of Private Client matters. She understands that such matters are often deeply personal and strives to provide empathetic, professional advice which is tailored to each client’s individual needs and circumstances.

Specialist areas include:

• Wills and Estate Planning;
• Trusts for tax planning purposes;
• Trusts for vulnerable beneficiaries;
• Lasting Powers of Attorney; and
• Estate Administration.

Kelly is an Associate STEP member and is currently studying to obtain full membership. The STEP qualification is a mark of excellence for solicitors bestowed by The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, reading crime fiction and Yoga.
