Christopher joined Franklins Solicitors LLP in September 2005 as a Trainee Solicitor following on from graduation from University and The College of Law. After completing his Training Contract, Christopher has remained with the practice ever since; firstly as a Solicitor from September 2007 and then as a Partner from January 2012.
Christopher sits within the firm’s Business Services division and his work profile encompasses commercial, intellectual property and insolvency work. Clients regularly praise Christopher's attention to detail and conscientious approach.
Christopher's commercial work includes drafting and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements and terms for a diverse portfolio of clients of varying sizes and across a variety of industries (including logistics, information technology and recruitment). He has a particular interest in commercial agency and distribution matters, as well as e-commerce compliance issues.
Christopher also advises and assists clients on various intellectual property issues, including related applications, enforcement actions and commercialisation. In this field he has assisted clients to obtain springboard injunctive relief where their confidential data has been misappropriated.
Within the insolvency arena, Christopher's work is primarily focused on acting for insolvency practitioners. However, he does also assist businesses and individuals who are affected by insolvency issues.
Whichever area Christopher is working in at any given time, his focus is always on providing a high level and cost effective service to clients whilst, at the same time, striving to maintain a down-to-earth and pragmatic approach.
Away from the office, Christopher enjoys spending time with his young family and, when time outside of that permits, watching a range of sports and listening to music.
