Before a trial takes place, any witness statements that are to be used must be written and provided to the other side. It is extremely important for these statements to be very detailed and therefore great care should be taken when they are being prepared. We can offer advice in relation to how a statement must be written as there are certain guidelines which should be adhered to.
Disclosure of Evidence
Prior to the trial, each party must provide one another with a list of documents relevant to the case. This list will typically include contracts, invoices and correspondence. You do not have to disclose details of correspondence between you and your solicitor as these are confidential. We will assist you in compiling a comprehensive list for disclosure to ensure that you meet the criteria set out by the court.
