<p>We are looking for a high calibre senior litigator in the 5-10 years PQE plus range with a strong academic background. The successful candidate will provide high quality, targeted and accessible legal advice across a range of practice areas as follows:-</p>
<p>​•	Director and shareholder disputes•	Contentious probate•	Debt recovery•	Rental repossessions both commercial and residential•	Commercial litigation•	Contract disputes•	Construction and building disputes•	Business Sale disputes•	Defamation and business reputation•	Property disputes•	Supply of goods and service disputes•	Franchise disputes•	Partnership disputes</p>
<p>​Experience of work in commercial litigation is a prerequisite for applying for this role. Candidates can expect a considerable amount of autonomy and responsibility from the outset, not only in their fee earning work but through business development activities and promoting the firm generally.&nbsp; Our litigation team is friendly and sociable.</p>
<p>​<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>

The successful candidate should be competent in advising clients on matrimonial finances, trusts of land disputes between unmarried couples, as well as child arrangements and maintenance issues.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate their organisational skills and prioritisation of work. Be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a team environment, being flexible, proactive and using their initiative at all times.​</p>
<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>To take instruction from clients and open files through the Office Management System </li>
<li>To deal with clients’ cases from initial instruction to completion </li>
<li>Liaise with client both in person or remote meetings and in telephone discussions </li>
<li>Receiving and issuing correspondence / mail from / to the client and third parties </li>
<li>Training and supervising trainees and NQ solicitors in the team </li>

<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referrers and colleagues</li>
<li>Supporting the Firm with brand awareness activities, including networking, events and content for the website and social media channels.</li>
