Adequate financial provision
If you are within a certain class of applicant, it may be possible to bring a claim under the Inheritance Act 1975.
Inadequately Provided For Under a Will?
If you are within a certain class of applicant, it may be possible for you to bring a claim under the Inheritance Provision for Family and Dependants Act 1975. This claim would be brought on the basis that that the deceased's Will or intestacy fails to makes adequate financial provision for you. This only applies if the deceased has died domiciled in England and Wales.
Again this is an area that we would be able to advise you on and confirm whether you would be able to make a claim under the Act.
