File a Defence
If the Defendant puts forward a counterclaim it will be necessary for you to file a Defence of your own within 14 days.
Counterclaims
The Defendant may wish to counter sue against you. For example, they may wish to say that the reason they have not paid the invoice was because the goods supplied were faulty and as a result they have incurred losses and expenses which they wish to claim.
If the Defendant does put forward a counterclaim it will be necessary for you to file a Defence of your own within 14 days.
